Moderator Reverend Dr. G.A. Jones' ministerial career includes pastorates at Elevation Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina; Wake Chapel Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina; and St. Paul Baptist Church, St. Albans, West Virginia.  For the past 19 years, he has served as the Senior Pastor of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina.  His studies have accomplished:  Bachelor Arts Degree,  St. Augustine’s College, Raleigh, North Carolina; Master of Divinity Degree, Southeastern Baptist Seminary, Wake Forest, North Carolina; Doctor of Ministry Degree, Trinity Theological Seminary Newburgh, Indiana.  Dr. Jones is a published author and is an Adjunct Professor at Saint Augustine's University, Raleigh, North Carolina.    

First-Vice Moderator Reverend Dr. James S. Utley began his ministerial journey by serving and supporting the auxiliaries of First Cosmopolitan MBC and the leadership of and tutelage of Reverend Dr. W. B. Lewis.  Dr. Utley holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Philosophy from, and also received his Master of Divinity Degree from, Shaw University Divinity School. He received a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio,  For the past 19 years, he has served as the Senior Pastor at Malaby's Crossroad MBC, Knightdale, North Carolina,  where he continues to nurture spiritual and intellectual growth, develop effective leadership, and provide resources that promote community development.

Second-Vice Moderator Reverend Joyce Pulley-Hinton has been involved in Christian ministry for more
than 30 years. Initially, she ministered through singing and teaching the Gospel. She accepted God's call
to preach the Gospel in 1993 and was ordained in 1998. Making history on both occasions by becoming
the first woman to be licensed and ordained in the one hundred and eight-year history of her home
church, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina.
After serving as Associate Minister for eight years at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, under the
leadership of Reverend P. R. Jones, the Lord led Rev. Pulley- Hinton to launch out into the deep. She is
the founding visionary pastor of Loving Word Missionary Baptist Church of Raleigh, North Carolina,
which opened its doors February 3, 2002, declaring “It’s All about Jesus.”
Rev. Pulley-Hinton loves the Lord! Her greatest desire is that she please God and that He be glorified in
whatever she does. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Pastor Pulley-Hinton is:
 1999 honor graduate of Shaw University Divinity School, Raleigh, North Carolina.
 Shepherd of the first church in the Association under the leadership of a woman pastor. (2004)
 First woman to preach at the Mid-Year Session of the WMBA. (2009)
 The first woman in the WMBA to build a church from the ground up, Loving Word
Missionary Baptist Church, dedicating the edifice in June 2014.
 A member of the Executive Board of (WMBA) and currently serves on the Ordination Council.
