The Annual J. F. Wertz Oratorical Contest and Awards

The WMBA 2023 Annual Spring Institute which will be held at Oak City Missionary Baptist Church, 726 Method Road, Raleigh, NC 27607.

Rev. Dr. William T. Newkirk, Sr., is the Pastor.

Masks are optional, and seating is reserved in the sanctuary for those who wear masks and would likesocial distancing.

The Institute will be held April 18-19, 2023 nightly at 6:30 p.m. with registration and devotion. Presentations will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Our topic this year will be Mental Health for adults and youth. Our presenters are highly qualified to address this topic. Click here and here.

Bethlehem Baptist Church at 7215 Six Forks Road, Raleigh North Carolina, cordially invite members of the Raleigh and surrounding community to the Pastoral Installation service of Pastor Elect Walter S. Dozier Sr. The Bethlehem Church family welcomed Pastor Dozier on September 3, 2023, as he led his inaugural worship service at 5:00 p.m.

Spring Institute

This Annual Association Oratorical Contest provides young people with an opportunity to develop and receive recognition for their public speaking skills. Contestants are judged based on a set of criteria that measures their demonstration of intellectual thinking and positive expression in an original written and oral presentation of the annual theme. Scholarships are awarded to the contestants with the highest scores. For the Association, this Oratorical Contest is held annually during the Spring Institute Sessions.
